Lost Foam Foundry Night

Learn about lost foam casting and get hands on experience in our Factory for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

The FAME Lab will be open to students, faculty, and staff wishing to explore lost-foam casting. Participants make the foam patterns (using styrofoam, a hotwire knife, and hot glue, which is provided), pour the metal, and keep the aluminum casting. Space is limited; please contact Robert Voigt at rcv2@psu.edu to sign up.
