Retired in Happy Valley. Current activities include being PSIMES President, PSEAS Board member, MEWS HOA President, BJC usher, and a Spring Township poll worker. We enjoy season tickets with football and Women's volleyball.  In my spare time I enjoy biking, fishing, and visiting my three grandchildren!

Tara Dulaney (’04 IE) – Vice President

Tara continues to serve the Penn State community through PSIMES since 2019, serving as board vice president and championing the diversity and inclusion initiatives. Professionally, Tara supports both NASA and NOAA customers and welcomes chances to connect those with a passion to work in the space industry to opportunities. She loves to spend time with her husband and two sons wearing blue and white!

Brian Byrne (’21 IE)  – Secretary

Brian has been actively engaged with Penn State through various alumni committees and initiatives since graduating. He joined the PSIMES board in July 2024 and serves as Board Secretary and on the Communications Committee, generating awareness for PSIMES programs and events. Additionally, he mentors student teams for the IE 480 Senior Capstone course.

John was elected to the PSIMES Board in May 2016 and currently holds the position of Past President. He is active in the PSIMES mentoring program and participates in the IE 480 Senior Capstone course as an alumni coach.  John  is a member of the PSEAS Board and Chairs the PSEAS APG Resource Committee. John is also a member of the Service Systems Engineering Emerging Opportunities Committee

Adam has been engaged with Penn State in mentoring activities, speaking to students about career opportunities, and connecting Penn State to manufacturing initiatives. Adam has worked with the PSIMES board to engage alumni, spotlighting their accomplishments, and connecting them to the program since joining the board in 2023.

Eric has been involved with Penn State since graduating. He has participated in supporting local college and high school students with mentoring, job shadowing, and professional development. He also works to support the regional PSU Commonwealth Campuses for both engineering and sustainability initiatives. Eric has been a PSIMES board member since 2022.

Grace joined the PSIMES board in July 2023 and serves on the Mentoring Committee, focusing on the development of current students through the PSIMES mentoring program. Since graduating, Grace continues to actively engage in her local alumni network and attends alumni events.

Robin has been actively engaged with recruiting for Disney IE and has remained involved with Penn State Career Fairs and Services. Robin joined the PSIMES Board in May 2020 and has served two consecutive terms leading the Communications committee.

While at Penn State, Steve participated in the IE Capstone course as well as the Cooperative Education program. Since graduating in 1990, he's attended various Alumni Association get togethers throughout the country as well as addressing graduating seniors at University Park on career options. He has been a PSIMES board member since July of 2024 and works with the Mentor Committee.

Linda is currently a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs by helping them scale their early-stage businesses.  Linda was previously a VP of Software Engineering, and has enjoyed an extensive career applying key quality and systems engineering concepts from her major to multiple industries making enterprise software.  She joined the PSIMES board in July 2024.

Chris Casciato (’85 IE)

Experienced Business Development professional supporting the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries. Chris joined the PSIMES Board in July 2025 and serves on the Alumni relations committee.  Chris is a season ticket holder for PSU football and enjoys many weekends in Happy Valley with his alumni friends.  His son and daughter are Penn Staters.

Morgan McNeal (’05 IE, '05 LAS, '08 MBA)

Since graduating from Penn State, Morgan has enthusiastically participated in alumni activities across the six different states she has called home. Her dedication extends to mentoring, where she has taken the initiative to establish, develop, and advance impactful mentoring programs within several companies. Adding to her commitment to her alma mater, Morgan joined the PSIMES board in July 2025.

Dan enjoyed his time in Happy Valley so much he decided to stay in State College after graduation. He now lives with his wife Alex in Houserville and regularly attends Penn State sporting events.  He became involved with the job shadowing committee in 2024 and has enjoyed touring students through the Niagara Bottling facility in Milesburg, PA.

Mark has been engaged with the Penn State IME department since graduation through mentoring over the years. In recent years, he has served on the Mentoring Committee. In July 2025, he joined the PSIMES board with the continued focus of guiding IME students on their career growth and personal development.
